Music and interpretation.

The music was always linked to my life. I started studying violoncello at 4 years old and I studied in an art school “Liceo Experimental Artístico de Antofagasta”. I don’t remember why I chose the violoncello (certainly the music) because I was very young, but mi mom was the person responsible for this. She took me to the birthday of a friend of her who played in the orchestra of my city. My mom told me that her friend played the “Happy Birthday” in violoncello and I was shocked, so she offered to be my teacher.

If I had to talk about some positive side or benefit of studing music (really art in general) is that it sensitizes people and makes you see life in a different way. Each person is sensitized in their own way of course. As an Orchestra musician, I have traveled to many places in Chile to play with orchestra. It has given me the opportunity to know th south of Chile (I am from Antofagasta) although this for me is totally secondary, but nice.

Your life changes from the moment you take a piece of art and let it kill you
